Long ago, in a kingdom far, far away, there lived a handsome king who was well beloved by the people. He left for war far south, and left his mysterious but beautiful wife and four children behind as he fought for his Kingdom's honor. The enemy was defeated, but before the good king could return, he was felled by an unusual illness. He returned with one breath left in his body to give his signet, the sign to now the most powerful kingdom in the known world, to his eldest son, Alexander.
This kingdom is Alvernon. To the east lies the Dark Forest, or the Eshti', said to be home to elves, faeries, and magical folk. Past the perils of the forest far east is the kingdom of Herrsland, home to dashing princes, strange creatures, and damsels in distress. To the north are the cold mountains, to where very few risk venture. The dwarves, they say, live here, as well as dangerous mountain trolls. The only thing worth value here is deep underground, and owned by the dwarves. To the west along the rocky shores lies the barbaric and harsh lands of Tarvish, where until the last century or so was ruled by many clans with crude rules of survival. They have united as one nation if a fierce and hardy people. The South is a broken land, and remains a territory of Alvernon. It is a hot, sultry, godless land, full of color and polygamy, which is frowned upon by Herrsland and Alvernon.
Now with the Good King Aeron dead, the other kingdoms are descending, all wanting their daughters to sit on the Alvernoni throne. There is also a dark force that has awakened in the forest and has her sights set on Alvernon. Political intrigue, quests, magic, this new rp has a lot of potential for anyone. One question remains, who will you play?
Lots of canon suggestions, many plots with fairy-tale inspirations. We're looking for colorful, interesting characters and mature, creative people. Currently, we are looking to start a war, arrange a royal marriage, and perhaps see the return of the Dragonlords, the riders of the dangerous, but majestic dragons in the north.
