Kavianza trotted through this land, observing. No horses. He made this conclusion easily even though the land was the largest. He sighed knowing that if he claimed this land many others would want to take it from him, but he also knew that none could since he would allow no stallions to join his herd. He all too well knew what young stallions could be like.
He picked up his trot now and transitioned into a canter knowing that if he did not act fast someone else would and snatch it right from under his nose. He snorted. He ran up one of the hills and looked around for the highest point of the land. It turned out, he was on it. He smiled smugly to himself figuring it was a sign.
Kav then sucked in a deep, long breath and let out a shrieking neigh of authority. He waited to see if someone would protest. No one did. He chuckled to himself, a little bit over confidently. Of course not, he thought. He stamped his hoof on the ground and stayed alert. This was now his land and it was going to stay that way.
