I have watched the world through my lonely eyes for three years now. I am sick and tired of watching everyone else have a life and friends and people who love them and me not even having spoken to anyone but mysef for a long time. I want friends of my own. I want a life of my own. I want to be happy. I know life isn't easy because I have watched other's lives and I have watched people being born and then other people being killed. I think I'm ready.
No one knows I exist and that's not how I want it. I want people to know I'm here and that I am not just a figment of everyone's imagination. I want--no NEED--someone to love me. I may not find it for a while, but I know I will. I have to....I won't be able to survive without it. I could feel my face fall as I realized that I may never find love. I shook my head to get ride of the thought and I held my chin up high. "Here we go," I whispered to myself as I took my first step into the light. My first step into the future. My first step into my life.
